The Mighty Cash Cats take their Johnny Cash Show to Johnny Cash’s Ventura hometown, at the NAMBA Performing Arts Space. Cash lived in Ventura for eleven years, first in the City of Ventura, later moving to Casitas Springs.
The Mighty Cash Cats have toured the USA, including residencies in Las Vegas, Europe, Ireland, UK, France and Israel, plus were featured in the German TV series “RTL PUNKT12.” Their show covers all six decades of “The Man in Black’s” music, including hits like ‘Folsom Prison Blues”, “Walk the Line”, “Ring of Fire,” and “A Boy Named Sue,” plus fun Johnny and June duets like “Jackson.” A recent review in The Ventura reporter called The Mighty Cash Cats an “International Sensation.” The LA Times wrote, “Wonderful Show”, The Ventura Star, “The Best Johnny Cash Tribute is Right Here in The 805”, The LA Examiner, “Just Like Johnny and June”, Jerusalem Post, “As if Johnny Cash Returned To The Bandstand”, and The Salt Lake City Tribune, “As Close As You Can Get To the Real Thing.”
Opening the show will be The Fabulous Linda Ronstadt Experience, doing a set of Linda’s greatest hits.
