Marta Saunders is 17 during the summer of 1974. This particular summer is one of mounting tension as Watergate happens, Nixon readies to resign and (supposedly) in the “Valley” area of Los Angeles where Marta, her sister and father live, Patty Hearst is hiding out with the SLA… Marta finds she has a strange connection to the young woman being held hostage as she herself struggles to grow up and find peace in her own world.
