Arthur Dente is a French classical guitarist and composer of Portuguese origin, who develops in his compositions an interaction between the Iberian Peninsula, Europe and, by extension, the cultures of the world.
The theme of the Indian crossing his work, poeticizes the tribal nature of modern man at the crossroads of these different civilizations.
Arthur Dente, has followed a complete musical studies, both in the conservatory and in university. He travels a lot abroad, in particular in Andalusia to study the different techniques of playing on the guitar.
Since 1981 he has presented original compositions at the composer and guitarist Léo BROUWER and pursues research of musical composition by matching music, theater, and literary arts.
In 2004, he directed the “Ensemble Magellan” composed of 23 musicians, which allows him to practice his orchestral compositions.
In 2017, at the International Guitar Festival Lambesc, he is invited to replace Roland Dyens.
