About The Sea Hunters

Sea Hunters heavily reverbed guitars and pounding drums recall Dick Dale, the Ventures, and Los Straitjackets. The trio kicks out tunes from films such as Beach Party to Pulp Fiction, as well as beautiful tropical tunes. Doug Paulin on lead guitar, Sarah Walsh on bass and Steve Mikkelson are the Sea Hunters.

About the Brassicals!

We are a lively group made up of 13+ members – age 19 to 85 – from the local community who play an eclectic mix of brass, woodwinds, strings, and percussion instruments. Our unique sound spans many genres including funk, jazz, pop, Latin, Klezmer, ska and more.

About Tom Collins

Tom Collins brings his smooth and articulate jazz guitar to Holiday Blues. He is an indefatigable performer and can be seen around town with jazz singer Toni Jannotta.

About The All-Star Blues Band

The All-Star-Blues band is a regular feature of the Holiday Blues show. This year our band includes: Fito de La Parra is best known as the drummer for Woodstock legend band Canned Heat. He continues to tour the world keeping, the boogie alive. R.J. Mischo started with George ‘Mojo’ Buford, Lazy Bill Lucas Slim among many others legendary players in the Midwest. He has performed, recorded and toured the world to great acclaim for over 30 years. He has released thirteen albums, including his most recent release ‘Live in Finland’ and is a current resident of Ventura. Rick Holmstrom is an esteemed blues artist who has released 6 solo albums, winning a Grammy in 2011. He has enjoyed a 15 year run playing guitar with gospel/soul/civil rights legend Mavis Staples,of the famous Staples Singers. Hank Van Sickle toured extensively with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. He has played alongside Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, Robben Ford and many others. He currently performs with Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers.

About Doc Ventura

Doc is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, producer and host of his own weekly radio show ‘Doc’s Delta Blues Lounge’. Doc Ventura loves the Holidays. This is his sixth ‘Holiday Blues’ production.


Tickets are reserved under your name and available at the door of the venue shortly before the performance. You do not need to print out your tickets. Lobby doors open for check-in 30 minutes prior to show time.
